Item 5.02. Departure of Directors of Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On August 17, 2020, Noodles & Company ("the Company") announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, Ken Kuick, effective August 21, 2020. The Company has commenced a formal search for a new Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Kuick will be available to support the transition through at least September 30, 2020.

The Company’s press release announcing Mr. Kuick’s resignation is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8‑K.
