Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 2, 2019, Mr. Thomas Lynch, who joined the board of Noodles & Company (the “Company”) pursuant to the terms of Mill Road Capital Management LLC’s investment in 2017, notified the Company of his resignation as a Class I director of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Lynch's decision to resign was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter related to its operations, policies or practices.
