(b)    Resignation of Paul JB Murphy, III, Executive Chairman

On September 3, 2019, Paul JB Murphy, III informed Noodles & Company (the “Company”) that he is resigning from his employment with the Company effective September 12, 2019 in order to accept another leadership opportunity within the restaurant industry. Mr. Murphy has served as Executive Chairman of the Company since June of 2017. Dave Boennighausen, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated “We would like to thank Paul for all of the contributions he has made to the Company over the last two years and we wish him well in his new endeavor.” Mr. Murphy commented “I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with the Noodles team. We have made significant progress over the last two years and I believe the Company is in a great place with strong growth potential and is in good hands with Dave Boennighausen as CEO.”
